Wedding Photography Checklist: What to Sort Before the Big Day

A few small things sorted in advance make the whole day run smoother for everyone, including me. Here's what to tick off.

• Book your date and pay the £50 deposit to secure it.

• Confirm your venue address and rough timings, so I know when and where to be.

• Let me know if your venue is outside Belfast so we can sort travel in advance.

• Think about whether you'd like an engagement session beforehand, it's a nice way to ease into being photographed together.

• Make a short list of any family photo combinations you definitely want (parents, grandparents, wedding party), so we're not trying to think of it on the day.

• If you've booked full day coverage, make sure I'm included in the catering plan.

• Let me know your preference on photo privacy, whether you're happy for a few images to appear on my website and social media, or you'd rather add the privacy option.
