How Many Hours of Wedding Photography Do You Actually Need?

This is one of the first questions couples ask me, and the honest answer depends on what your day actually looks like. Here's how to think about it.
Half day, 4 hours
This usually covers the ceremony through to the key parts of the celebration afterwards, speeches, first dance, that sort of thing. It suits smaller or shorter weddings well, or couples who don't need the morning getting-ready photos.
Full day, 12 hours
This covers the whole thing, from morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations. If you want photos of getting ready, the in-between moments, and the party going late, this is the one.
What if the day runs over?
Weddings rarely run exactly to schedule, so if we go past 12 hours, that extra time is charged at £100 per hour rather than cutting off mid celebration.
If you'd like to see full pricing and what's included, have a look at the Wedding page, or just message me and tell me about your day and I'll help you work out what makes sense.
