Belfast has no shortage of lovely spots for an engagement shoot, which is great, but it can also make choosing one feel a bit overwhelming. Here's how to narrow it down.

Think about what feels like you

The best engagement photos usually come from a location that actually means something to you as a couple, whether that's somewhere you had your first date, a favourite corner of the city, or simply a spot you both love to walk. Feeling comfortable in a place tends to show in the photos.

Consider the light and the season

Time of year and time of day both shape how a location feels. An open, green space suits softer midday light, while a spot with interesting buildings or streets can look wonderful in the warmer light later in the day.

A few practical things to check

It's worth thinking about how easy the location is to get to, whether there's anywhere nearby to park, and whether it tends to get busy at certain times. A quieter spot usually makes for a more relaxed shoot for both of us.

If you'd like help choosing a location or want to book your engagement session, you can do that on the Book Online page.
